MPULSE EVOLVES INTO DAILYSPLICE
Growing Victoria Tech Company adds some ’splice’ to its brand
Victoria BC, January 17, 2008 - Four months after the company officially launched, mPulse announced it is “splicing” up its brand with a brand new name and logo. The startup company intends on making their new brand, DailySplice, a household name by the end of the decade. DailySplice is a product under development that will make it possible for the average Internet user to easily set up their own, customized daily radio program by splicing together short topical audio shows called podcasts from around the net.
“Choosing the right name is as difficult a task as it is important.” say CEO Rian Bowden. The company looked into hundreds of possibilities before arriving on DailySplice. The founders are all very happy with the new name and are excited to start using it to promote the new version of their website, expected out in weeks.
“We’ve had a lot of success with mPulse, and we’ve got a really good feeling about the future of DailySplice.” says Bowden. DailySplice has begun looking for angel financing to help fund further development and marketing. “The technology is shaping up very well, so from here on in we’re going to have to start focusing a lot more on marketing, which can be expensive.” Bowden has a background in online marketing and plans to hire a team on Web 2.0 experts to implement what he refers to as a very modern marketing strategy.
DailySplice Technologies Inc. is a student started tech company that is building a web application which will allow users to customize their own daily radio programs.
